Yesterday was HSNW stamp show. I got my tickets weeks ago, then on Friday my dad died suddenly. I decided to go to the show anyway, but I wondered around in a bit of a daze. Didn't buy much at all and even came home with cash (which was a shock!)
It was lovely to meet up with friends, the hugs were very much appreciated. I didn't break down in tears as I thought. When I spoke to Jennie from The Artistic Stamper, she told me that I had probably done my crying and grieving already. And she was right. Watching dad waste away with various forms of Altzheimers was soul destroying. His death was a blessing, but it was such a shock.
Anyway, I did pick up a few stamps at the show which I had no intention of buying....just couldn't resist them!. I fell in love with Jennie's new stamp designs so watch this space for eye candy in the next few days.
