Mel's Bookie Joint swap

I've been taking part in Melanie's *Bookie Joint* swaps for some years now. The idea is, make 8 pages using whatever theme and size Mel stipulates. We send the pages to her and she collates them and makes the most beautiful art deco books to send back to each player.
This time, the theme was Oriental, but we had to make our pages in the shape of a house. It was lovely to do something different. I made my backgrounds using Distress inks DTP, then spritzed with some home made shimmery sprays. The butterflies were cut with a spellbinder die from FFC scrapbook papers. Charms are also from Far Flung Craft
These are 2 of my pages.
